Abstract
The use of the Internet grew explosively in the 90’s. However, to be able to connect to the Internet, one has to find a stationary computer with a modem or a network card. Therefore it is desirable to have access to the Internet from portable devices such as mobile phones, laptops, or personal digital assistants (PDAs).
