Abstract
File transferring over the IP has come a long way ever since the beginning of the internet era. Hosts connected to a network are able to exchange almost everything from text to images, to even larger files such as audio and video, via the internet. Audio file transfer has become more popular with the ability to share songs in mp3 formats. Audio file transfer has also made it possible for 2 hosts from different locations who are connected to the same network, to communicate with each other.
