Abstract
Intrusion Detection Sistem is an alternative approach of security taken by computer experts. Honeypot is a system that is build through server to attract intruders. All their activities can be monitored without bringing risk to the system. The advent of virtual machines such as User Mode Linux has made setting up honeypots far easier.
