Abstract
A rapid progress of the technology of the information system and Internet, make our life easier and more productive, but at the same time there is some people out there who like to take the advantage of this technology to do the malicious things. So, there is a need for a system that can block certain access and at the same time being the Internet accelerator. That is why this project was proposed as a thesis to developed, a Proxy System Using Squid and was developed on Linux platform.
