Abstract
Bulletin Board System is also known as internet discussion group provides various services such as message and article posting for user, file transfer, accessing information and teleconferencing. A study conducted on Usenet newsgroups and current bulletin boards system has identified several weakness such as command line interface which proves to be difficult for the user, a need for a special client software to access the system and problem with portability.
